Despite being wounded, Tanjiro visits Rengoku’s family. He meets Senjuro, Kyojuro’s brother and father. Losing a family member is painful, but Shinjuro Rengoku was furious about the death of his son, resulting in Tanjirou and Shinjuro’s fight. Tanjiro attacked Kyojuro’s father, resulting in Tanjiro losing consciousness. Tanjiro wakes up after the fight and apologizes to Senjuro. At the same time, he also received a book and Kyojuro’s tsuba.

Somewhere, Akaza appeared in front of Toshikuni, the adopted son of a wealthy family. It turns out that Toshikuni was Muzan Kibutsuji. Akaza told Muzan that he failed to find the Blue Spider Lily, but he was able to kill a Hashira. Instead of praising Akaza, Muzan expressed his disappointment to Akaza by letting him experience pain. With the pain that Akaza experiences, the demon vows to kill Tanjiro once they meet again.

After a tiring day at the Rengoku residence, Tanjiro started walking back home when he met Hotaru Haganezuka. With him losing another sword, Hotaru chased and attacked him. Thankfully, he was saved by Aoi, who heard his cry.

Later, the Sound Hashira arrived at the Butterfly Mansion. Tengen Uzui grabbed Naho and Aoi while Sumi and Kiyo cried for help, while Kanao panics and can’t decide what to do. Tanjiro suddenly arrived and asked the Sound Hashira to release the two kids. However, the Hashira insisted that he need a companion for his mission. Knowing that Aoi is still inexperienced to enter the battlefield, Tanjiro told Tengen that they will accompany him instead. At the same time, Inosuke and Zenitsu appeared. Tengen Uzui gladly accept the offer and they started their journey to visit the number one location in Japan where desire and lust are dripping – the Entertainment District.
