Despite still not being a registered ninja of the Konoha Village, Kawaki already received his Konoha forehead protector. With the release of the 60th chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, manga fans are delighted to see heartwarming moments in the Uzumaki family.
Following the fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki, the peace has been returned to the village. Kawaki was seen sitting on top of the Hokage Rock when Naruto arrives and asked what he was doing. Kawaki tried to make an excuse but the Hokage didn’t buy it. Instead of listening to Kawaki’s lame excuse, Naruto asked Kawaki to go home.
When the two arrived at their home, Kawaki was surprised to see a party in front of him. It turns out that the Uzumaki decided to throw a welcoming party for Kawaki. As they are enjoying their delicious dinner, Boruto revealed that he has a gift for Kawaki. Boruto brings out his Konoha forehead protector and dropped it on the table. Kawaki was surprised to see a ninja forehead protector.
Before Kawaki goes to sleep, he was still holding the forehead protector while thinking of the words that Naruto told him. And at the same time, he vowed that there’s still one thing he can do to protect Konoha and Naruto, suggesting his plan to regain Karma with Amado’s help.
About Boruto: Naruto Next Generations
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto: Shippuden series. The manga was originally written by Ukyo Kodachi but it was passed to Masashi Kishimoto after some chapters.
Boruto was serialized in May 2016 by Shueisha and become part of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. As of writing, the manga series has already garnered 13 volumes since its serialization. The series already got its own anime adaptation which started airing in April 2017. But before the start of the anime, a Boruto movie has been released in 2015.
