Crunchyroll is undoubtedly one of the most popular anime streaming sites. Just like AnimeLab and VRV, Crunchyroll offers a premium plan to allow users to watch unlimited anime series and films. However, due to the high fees that users need to pay, some anime fans avoid using legal anime streaming sites and use illegal sites instead.
With the growing number of illegal anime streaming sites, legal companies have to do something, or else they will continue to lose users. To keep up with the competition, Crunchyroll has announced that they are reducing the premium subscription fees in nearly 100 countries. This only means that the Crunchyroll subscription will be more affordable.
One of the tier 1 countries whose subscription fees have been adjusted is the United Kingdom. From 7.99 GPB, Crunchyroll lowered the Mega Fan plan to 5.99 GBP. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates also received a slash. The Mega Fan plan is now 19 AED instead of 36 AED.
