If you have a problem with the giant and you want to show him who is big boss, I have some simple advice for you so you can beat him without bigger problems, you just need to prepare a few things.

Dropped by Maleigh Marais, Shaded Castle Castellan, a hostile NPC he is found in the fields west of The Shaded Castle which is placed between Altus Plateau and Mt. Gelmir under the bridge on the North. (he gives you cool helmet also)
Add bleed Ash of war it might be from Fort Haight from the Godrick`s Knight (you dont have to use AoW just let it sit on the rapier) Inflicting Bleed and Scarlet Rot will help you significantly
Rogiers Rapier +8
(Left hand)
It`s given by Sorcerer Rogier at the balcony in Roundtable Hold after defeating Godrick the Grafted.
(delete his ash of war and give sth for toxic… i mean poison (too much warframe) or another bleed cuz why not
Upgrade them as much as possible (+12) (I recommend getting Smithing Stone Bell Bearings earlier they will become handy)
- 1st grade Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel in Liurnia next to the Howl`s walking Mausoleum and his neighbor Totoro
- 2nd grade Sealed Tunnel in Altus Plateau next to church high above (South of the Capital)

Also might consider using Rotten breath or Pest threads but they are not as effective as many say, at leasy in this fight.

Tactic
Recommended Vigor at least 35 – 40, and 20-ish endurance
Basically, try to avoid his attacks, do it by yourself to shorten the distance on horseback, you can summon tankier spirits, but not necessary tbh. Spam dual wielded attacks with both rapiers and the damned ginger braided overweight whale should be sniffing flowers from the underground
