The first season of Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway, also known as Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou, has finally ended. With the heartwarming scenes from the final episode, many anime fans are wondering if there will be a second season of the anime.
As of the moment, there is no news of any renewal of the Higehiro anime. So, what are the odds that a new season of the anime will be produced? To tell you the truth, I don’t see that the production team will be making another Higehiro anime.
If you’re not aware, the first season of the Higehiro anime has already covered all the volumes of the light novel of the same title. Given that the ending of the first season of the Higehiro anime has already reached the climax and end of the light novel, I guess there’s almost zero chance of getting a new season of the anime series.
The light novel Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. written by Shimesaba has a total of 82 chapters compiled into 5 volumes. The first chapter was published on February 1, 2018, by the publisher, Kadokawa Shoten, while the last and final publication was released on June 1, 2021.
The manga adaptation of the light novel is still ongoing under the same publisher. Currently, the manga already has a total of 29 chapters. The manga version is being supervised by the original creator of the series, Shimesaba, and is illustrated by Imaru Adachi.
