The official website for the anime adaptation of the novel How the Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, also known as Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki, announced that the first season of the anime series will be having a total of 13 episodes.
In addition to the episode count, the staff also revealed that they are now preparing for the debut of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom on July 3, 2021. How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom anime is part of the Summer 2021 anime. Along with Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki, other popular anime are also returning this summer including the second cour of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2.
The animation of Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki is made possible by J.C. Staff, the production team behind the Eden Zero, The Way of the Househusband, and many more. WOWMAX is the producer behind this project.
Unlike the other anime series coming this summer 2021, How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is directly based on the light novel of the same title written by Dozeumaru, instead of the manga adaptation.
