The newest update on Bunkyodo’s official Twitter account surprised fans with the 8th volume of Insomniacs After School, also known as Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia. Along with the set of photos comes the confirmation that an anime adaptation of the manga series is in production.
Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia is a manga series written by Makoto Ojir. The manga has been serialized by Shogakukan and is regularly getting new updates in the Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine. Since its publication in May 2019, the manga has already garnered a total of eight volumes.
As for the release date of the Insomniacs After School anime, the staff is yet to reveal more details about it.

Insomniacs After School follows the story of two students suffering from insomnia. Ganta, the male protagonist, and Isaki, the female protagonist, started an unusual connection after meeting the school’s observatory room. Knowing that they both worry about their lack of sleep, Ganta and Isaki started sharing secrets with each other.
