Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 14 Recap
The previous episode, “No Such Thing as a Free Lunch,” aired on October 18th. The episode starts with Rudeus seeing himself imprisoned in Doldia Village. Shortly after, another human prisoner named Geese joined him. As the two started to learn about each other, enemies suddenly attacked the village. The enemies were being managed by their leader, Gallus Cleaner.
The two started fighting, and Rudeus realized that the enemy was way stronger than he was. Being alone and capable of fighting, he won’t be able to defeat the head of the smugglers, almost letting the enemy flee. Fortunately, the Sacred Beast that was rescued by Rudeus in Episode 2 arrived and attacked Gallus. Along with the Sacred Beast, Geese also joined the fight to defeat Gallus.
After the intense battle, Rudeus lost his consciousness. The young mage wakes up and reunites with Ruijerd and Eris, who later reveal why they were delayed. It turns out they aid the Doldians to defeat the remaining smugglers. The head of the village apologized to Rudeus after their false accusation and imprisonment. As the episode ends, the anime sees the death of Eri’s grandfather after being accused after the unfortunate Mana Surge that happened. Eris’ grandfather faced his death in front of the king.
