Solo Leveling Webtoon Ended With a Total of 179 Chapters

Solo Leveling is undoubtedly one of the most popular webtoons out there. Not only in Korea, but also around the world. Sung Jinwoo’s actions and adventures excite fans with every new chapter. However, it seems that it’s finally time for Sung Jinwoo to rest as the author of the adaptation announced the end of the Solo Leveling webtoon.

With the release of Solo Leveling Chapter 179, author Jang Sungrak thanked everyone for the warm and unending support for the Solo Leveling webtoon adaptation. In partnership with Kakao, the production of the Solo Leveling webtoon started its serialization in 2016 and was later published by D&C Media.

“Thank you for loving our series despite its flaws. As I took on Solo Leveling as a new challenge, I was able to learn a lot of things. I’m really happy and also sorry at the same time for the love that we’ve received this whole time,” Jang Sungrak told the press.

“In our journey to bring this series to an end, I would like to thank all our artists who have helped me, Park Mogoon who helped me by doing two people’s work temporarily for one to two months. The both of them have done a lot as they wanted this series to do well,” he added.

The author also extends his appreciation to Lee Mogoon and all the other staff who helped him with the project.

The Solo Leveling webtoon is an adaptation of Chugong’s web novel of the same title. It follows the story of Sung Jinwoo, the weakest hunter in the association, who luckily received a power up after entering a dungeon. With the new power that he acquired, he started climbing and proving his worth throughout the entire world.
