Hunter x Hunter follows the story of Gon Freecss, a boy who dreams of becoming a hunter in search of his father. On his journey, Gon meets and befriends three other aspiring hunters: Killua, a member of an assassin family, Kurapika, who wants to become a Blacklist Hunter to capture the criminals who killed his tribe; and Lerio, who wants to become a doctor. Those who welcome the world of danger and adventure with open hearts may grow to be the best hunters of all! Hunter x Hunter is a manga series originally written by Yoshihiro Togashi. The manga series has been on hiatus since 2018 due to the author's health concerns. However, Shonen Jump has announced the return of the Hunter x Hunter manga in October 2022. The series also received its own anime adaptation, which garnered a total of 148 episodes.
