After almost 4 years, the much-awaited return of Hunter x Hunter has finally been confirmed. The manga series was put on hiatus back in 2018 due to the author’s health. Following the hiatus, many fans are asking when it will return or if it will ever make a comeback. Well, it seems that the wait is over as we finally got the official announcement from Shonen Jump.
Shonen Jump has revealed that Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter manga series will resume on October 23, 2022. Yes, you read it right. Hunter x Hunter will continue the story where it was dropped back in 2018.

In May 2022, the manga author told Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that he had already finished 10 chapters of the series. Togashi also gave fans frequent updates by posting a sneak peek of his work on Twitter. With these details that we have, it is safe to assume that Hunter x Hunter will be back on track like what we had before.
