According to the details leaked on Twitter, Yoshifumi Totsuka’s manga series, Undead Unluck, is getting a TV anime adaptation. The report suggests that the official announcement will be revealed along with the release of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine issue #39.

Shueisha started publishing in January 2022 and up to this date has been serialized by Shueisha. The manga has already garnered a total of 12 volumes, and it seems that the story is still far from being over. Moreover, Undead Unlock has already been featured in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine several times.

The series follows the story of Fuuko Izumo, a young girl who has the ability called “Unlock,” which brings bad luck to anyone who comes into contact with her. Due to her ability, Fuuko decides to commit suicide. But instead of dying, she meets an undead man who has an impressive regeneration ability but wants to die. Due to the nature of their abilities, they worked together until they found themselves being chased by a mysterious organization. Their fate is now unknown.
Undead Unlock was created by Yoshifumi Tozuka. Since Shueisha’s serialization in 2020, the series already garnered more than 12 volumes. The series is currently available on Viz and Manga Plus. Undead Unlock has been categorized as an action, comedy, sci-fi, and supernatural manga series.
