Eiichiro Oda just dropped the latest Chapter 1023 of One Piece manga. The new chapter continues the fight in the Wano Country. One Piece Chapter 1023, titled “Two Peas in a Pod,” was released on August 29, 2021.
Zoro and Sanji vs King and Queen
The fight against the two calamities of the Beasts Pirates continues. After receiving the attack from Sanji and Zoro, the two calamities, King and Queen, stand up.
King tried to attack Sanji, but Zoro stopped him. Queen, on the other hand, attempted to attack Zoro, but Sanji stepped in and stopped Queen.
Queen Reveals King’s Race
As the fight continues, Queen questions how Sanji was able to make a fire on his leg. Initially, Queen thought that it was due to Germa 66’s power, but Sanji debunked his beliefs and revealed that he was just a regular human, unlike his siblings.
Queen found Sanji’s response outrageous since Sanji is not a Lunarian who can produce fire. With King’s appearance in the next panel, the manga suggests that Queen is referring to King being a Lunarian.
Jack vs Inuarashi’s Sulong Form
The impending rematch between Jack and Inuarashi has finally happened as the two finally faced each other once again. Jack mocked Inuarashi and attacked him, but the Inuarashi grabbed Jack’s trunk and threw him away.
Shortly after, we got to see Inuarashi transform into his Sulong form. Thanks to the hole in the roof, Inuarashi was able to unleash his full potential.
Perospero vs Nekomamushi’s Sulong Form
The manga resumes the fight between Nekomamushi stopped Perospero’s attack.
Similar to Inuarashi, Nekomamushi also transformed into his Sulong form to face the man who killed Pedro on Whole Cake Island.
Momonosuke’s Adult Dragon Form Arrives
After Momonosuke’s request to Shinobu, we finally get to see another surprise in the manga. It turns out that Shinobu granted his request to make him an adult. At the last spread of Chapter 1023, the crew members of the Heart Pirates were surprised to see an adult dragon in front of them.
The Heart Pirates thought it was Kaido and warned Luffy to stay away. However, Luffy stayed in front of the dragon. It turns out that the adult-looking dragon was Momonosuke’s transformation. In addition to this surprise, the manga also teased adult Momonosuke’s silhouette.
