One Piece Film: Red Surpassed Film Z’s Earnings

Despite not yet being released worldwide, the latest One Piece film, One Piece Film: Red, has managed to surpass the previous One Piece anime film, One Piece Film: Z. According to the announcement earlier today on Twitter, One Piece Film: Red has already reached 7 billion yen since its release in Japan. The previous One Piece film only got 6.87 billion yen when it was released last year.

In Japan, One Piece Film: Red has already surpassed several anime films, including One Piece Film: Z. Moreover, Red is still behind the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime film.

On August 6, 2022, the Japanese premiere of One Piece Film: Red will take place. Many are already waiting to see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates internationally. However, due to some reasons, there will be some delays. Speaking of which, One Piece Film: Red has already been dated for release in some Asian countries, including the Philippines.

One Piece follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who becomes a rubber man after eating Gomu Gomu no Mi. Luffy dreams of becoming the next pirate king. Luffy sets sail for the Grand Line, aided by his crew and other friends, in search of the treasure known as One Piece.
