Gol D. Roger

One Piece Leak Reveals the Name of Gol D. Roger’s Sword

Pirate King Gol D. Roger is currently considered the strongest pirate who crossed the ocean in the world of One Piece. Gol D. Roger’s main weapon is his sword and while the details of his sword are still unknown, the recently leaked details from the One Piece Vivre Card Databook suggest the name of his sword.

Well, a sword’s name is not new when it comes to the world of One Piece. Even Zoro’s swords have their own name, with Enma as the newest addition. But what about the name of Gol D. Roger’s sword?

Gol D. Roger’s Sword is Called “Ace”

According to the leaked details shared by Sandman_AP on Twitter, Roger’s sword is named Ace. Yes, it’s Ace. The same name Roger gave his son.

Apart from the name of the Pirate King’s sword, Ace is also classified as a Supreme Grade, which means that Ace is one of the 12 Meito swords.

Clash Between Ace and Murakumogiri

It’s not surprising why Gol D. Roger was able to withstand the attack of Edward Newgate, also known as Whitebeard. As we all know, Whitebeard has been using a spear-like sword, which is the Murakumogiri. Murakumogiri is also one of the 12 Supreme Grade Meito swords.

Ace’s Fate is Now Unknown

Where is Gol D. Roger’s sword right now? Since Roger surrendered to the Marines, Ace’s location and whereabouts is still unknown.

Looking at the previous crew of Roger Pirates, it seems that none of them are using or keeping Roger’s sword. Shanks is wielding Gryphon, Rayleigh is using a different sword than his captain, and Buggy is also using some sort of knife.

Ace shares the same fate as Oro Jackson. Neither the sword nor Roger’s ship is shown to be destroyed or damaged, but what happened to them after Roger’s group disbanded is unknown.
