Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are still in the midst of the fight against Kaido and his subordinates. The manga features how Luffy fearlessly fights the Yonko in a one-on-one match. However, Kaido was still overpowering Luffy and defeated the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates for the third time.
Upon Kaido’s victory, the Yonko went inside the Skull Dome and told Luffy he was dead. Everyone around me was shocked to hear the news from Kaido, and their hope to win was already fading. With Kaido’s announcement, the spirits of his allies went up and immediately attacked Luffy’s allies.
