The Hunters Guild: Red Hood by Yuki Kawaguchi to End on Chapter 18

The Hunters Guild: Red Hood by Yuki Kawaguchi is one of the newest manga series released this year. While Velou and Grimm were able to make an impressive debut in June 2021, it seems that they will now be taking a rest.

According to a report on Twitter, The Hunters Guild: Red Hood will be canceled after the release of Chapter 18 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #49.

Personally, I’m one of the fans of the series who got hooked on the first few chapters of the manga. However, after the action during the werewolves’ attack at Velou’s town, the Kasoka Village, I started losing interest in the series.

Well, Yuki Kawaguchi surely made a good plot but the progress during the training arc was actually not good in my opinion. The manga series has introduced a lot of new characters that surely players some big roles for the main protagonist, but again, it destroys the excitement that I felt during the debut of The Hunters Guild: Red Hood.

The Hunters Guild: Red Hood become part of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on June 27, 2021. As of writing, the manga is yet to receive Chapter 18, which also marks the last chapter of the manga series.
