One Piece Reveals Luffy’s New Giant Form

Following the release of the early spoilers, One Piece Chapter 1045 has finally arrived and revealed Monkey D. Luffy’s new form, Gomu Gomu no Giant. The new chapter titled “Next Level”, showcased Luffy’s awakening while fighting Yonko Kaido.

The main protagonist of the One Piece series has been the star since his awakening teaser in the previously released manga chapters. While the manga took a break last time, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda gave fans another breathtaking chapter.

Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Giant Revealed

The fight between Kaido and Luffy continues in Chapter 1045 of the manga series. With Luffy awakening his devil fruit, which has already been revealed to be its real name and type, Kaido seems to be having a hard time dealing with Luffy’s new power.

Kaido acknowledged Luffy’s awakening, but he still had no idea what was going on. As noted by the Yonko, Luffy was able to turn his surroundings like rubber, which is how an awakened Paramecia-type devil should behave. However, Kaido feels something unusual as he witnesses Luffy transforming just like a Zoan-type devil fruit user.

In the previous chapter, one of the Gorosei confirmed that Gomu Gomu no Mi’s real name was Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika. At the same time, fans also learned that it’s a mythical Zoan-type devil fruit.

As the chapter continues, Luffy transforms into a giant-like form while naming it Gomu Gomu no Gigant. Luffy was about to attack Kaido, but Kaido immediately attacked his body. While Kaido’s attack was undoubtedly powerful, Luffy was still able to withstand the pain. Luffy grabbed Kaido’s head and tail and played with them like a jump rope.

While the fight between these two captains hasn’t been settled yet, One Piece fans are already expecting to see the outcome in the next few chapters of the series. Well, who knows?
